Dermal Fillers In Pittsburgh, PA

Restore Volume, Enhance Beauty

FDA-approved dermal fillers that add volume, smooth wrinkles, and create balanced, natural-looking facial contours with immediate, long-lasting results.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal Filler FAQ'S

Results vary depending on the type of filler used and the treatment area. Hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, RHA) typically last 6-18 months. Factors like metabolism, lifestyle, and the area treated can affect longevity. During your consultation, we'll discuss which products offer the best duration for your specific goals.

Most patients experience minimal discomfort during filler injections. Many fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which numbs the area during treatment. We can also apply topical numbing cream before the procedure for added comfort. Most describe the sensation as brief pressure or pinching. The entire process is typically well-tolerated, and any discomfort is temporary.

While all dermal fillers add volume and smooth wrinkles, they differ in consistency, longevity, and ideal use. Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers great for lips, cheeks, and folds. RHA fillers are designed for areas with frequent movement like around the mouth. Radiesse provides immediate results and stimulates collagen production. During your consultation, we'll recommend the best product for your specific needs and desired outcome.

Side effects from dermal fillers are generally minimal and temporary. Common reactions include mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at injection sites, which typically resolve within a few days. Rare complications can include lumps, asymmetry, or vascular issues, but these are extremely uncommon when treatments are performed by experienced injectors. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed. We provide detailed aftercare instructions and are available for any concerns following your treatment.
